Loudoun County will get a cut of these funds for the Sand Branch crossing of Pleasant Valley Road (Route 609) and the Butchers Creek crossing of Airmont Road (Route 719).
Virginia plans to spend $175 million on 100 new lane miles in an effort to fight congestion, $146.4 million to repave roads statewide, $117.8 million on urban metropolitan projects and a total of $100.6 million on bridges. In addition to that money, Virginia also plans to put $91.2 million toward 17 new lane miles near growing military bases, $61.7 million toward the rail network and $20.8 million on various transportation projects.
