A Guided Tour of Technology & Vocational Education in Loudoun
Charles S. Monroe Technology Center was established in 1977 to provide technology and vocational education to students in Loudoun County.
Last Spring, Education Reporter Julia Stewart and the Loudoun Independent Video Crew were provided with a tour of Monroe Tech, where they spoke with teachers and students from several different programs.Making the Best Technology Moves in a Tough Economy
The fact that many of the new businesses that have located here have made Loudoun County a national high technology center was an important factor during the 2009 Technology Forum hosted by the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce.

After last week’s discussion on blogs, I would be remiss not to mention Supervisor Eugene Delgaudio (R-Sterling) and his TeleTown Hall held on March 19. Residents of Sterling District–and likely a few political operatives and members of the press–dialed into a toll-free phone number to listen to a brief presentation and report from the supervisor before a question-and-answer period.
