Last Saturday delivered one of the most beautiful days of the summer. It was the perfect day for the Ashburn Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department's first annual Poker Run event.

“It might sound a bit cliché, but really, the freedom is why we ride,” said Mike O’Meara of radio station WJFK, when asked what is so great about riding a motorcycle. Most people who have never ridden on a motorcycle are excited by the thrill of being “bad,” while those who do ride are exhilarated by the total control of destiny they have on their bike. 

The Loudoun County Fair, which runs from July 26-Aug. 1 this year, is proud to introduce that they will be offering the “Great Outhouse Race.”

On April 10, Bryan Deblois, 22, entered guilty pleas in Loudoun County Circuit Court to Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol (Misdemeanor) and Eluding Law Enforcement (Felony) related to an incident last year.
