McDonnell Announces Opposition to LCI Freeze
Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell (R) announced Monday, Feb. 8, that he will not support the freeze of the Local Composite Index (LCI) as proposed in the budget prepared by former Virginia Governor Tim Kaine (D). McDonnell announced he will support updating the LCI, the formula which determines state and local education funding responsibility.
