Thursday morning kids from Ashburn got up early during their summer break to participate in a charity triathlon event. Though there were some veterans, this event was the first triathlon for most of the kids and earns them the title “Triathlete”.

Suspects entered a residence on the 20420 block of Quarterpath Trace Cir. in Sterling. They removed various amounts of change and a rear door was found ajar.

Boy Scout Troop 2970, sponsored by Our Saviors Way Lutheran Church in Ashburn is very proud of its new Eagle Scout: Brendan J. Yarbrough. Brendan has been involved in Scouting for over 10 years. He began as a Cub Scout in Pack 1483 where he earned the highest honor in Cub Scouting—Arrow of Light.

Suspects entered a residence on the 43800 block of Hibiscus Drive in Ashburn. They removed a GPS unit and a laptop.

Suspects removed a firearm from a residence in the 20500 block of Wake Ter. in Sterling. The item disappeared during a move.
