Help the Children - Fill a Stocking

Following are instructions for those interested in providing filled Christmas stockings for deserving children this year:

* Call the Stocking Hotline at 703-737-8062, and leave the following information: your name and telephone number; your group’s name, if applicable; the number of stockings you would like to fill, and in which category(ies); and the name of the person who will pick up the stockings.

* Stockings are categorized into groups as follows: preschoolers, ages two to four years; youth, ages five to eight years; and pre-teens, ages nine-12 years.

* Choose the number and category or categories of stockings you wish to fill.

* We will provide 22-inch red mesh stockings, toppers, stocking labels and a “stuffer” suggestion list. After picking up the stockings, your job will be to fill the stockings with new unwrapped items. If you donate a gift card, please place it in a marked envelope.

* Please, no candy or perishable items this year.

* If you have collected larger items that will not fit in the stockings, please bring them to the store to be used as separate gifts.

* Return your stockings directly to the Holiday Store located at 22714 Glenn Drive, Ste. 100, Sterling, VA 20164 during the following days and times: Dec. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Dec. 6 from noon-4 p.m.
