Perkinson to Attend UVA

Colin R. Perkinson of South Riding graduated Summa Cum Laude during the 120th commencement exercises at Woodberry Forest School on May 23. He received the Nathaniel A. Jobe Award for History and Government, and the Mortimer A. Turner Memorial Medal for his performance as French student. He was a member of the Cum Laude Society, and was selected as a member of Woodberry Prefect Board, which governs Woodberry's honor system.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Perkinson of South Riding, Colin will attend the University of Virginia.

Founded in 1889, Woodberry Forest is an independent boarding school Madison County, Va. for 400 boys in grades 9-12 from 31 states the District of Columbia and eight foreign countries.
