On Friday June 26 six Loudoun County Sheriff¹s Office correctional recruits graduated from The Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy with the session’s highest honors. These six graduates managed to earn a majority of the class awards.
The graduating class of Jail Officer Basic #143 are Allen T. Beasley (recipient of the top academic award and the top overall award), Bryan Cramer, Marsha Flora ( recipient of the Ricky L. Timbrook Award, named in honor of a fallen Winchester Police Officer. The award goes to the recruit who personifies the highest standard), Kevin H. Volquarts (recipient of the Top Skills Achievement Award), Sarah A. Weaver (recipient of the Female Physical Fitness Award), and Nathan A. Zilke.
The new correctional deputies will begin a four-week in-house training program at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center (ADC). The state-of-the-art facility opened in the summer of 2007 and houses maximum, medium and minimum security level inmates.
The Rappahannock Regional Criminal Justice Academy is a Virginia regional training academy which trains basic and veteran law enforcement officers, correctional officers and communications officers for more than sixty agencies. The academy has campuses in Fredericksburg, Middletown and Hanover.
