The victim, a 23-year-old Sterling man, told Sheriff's deputies that he was riding his bike on Sunday, Oct. 25 at around 7 p.m. when he was approached by an unknown suspect who demanded cash. The victim refused, then was allegedly stabbed by the suspect.

The victim went to several nearby homes asking for help.

The suspect was described as a tall black male, probably in his early 20s wearing a black t-shirt, black pants and a gray hooded sweatshirt. Police units and a K-9 unit searched the area, but no suspect was located.

The victim was airlifted to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he remains in stable condition.

"As the investigation continues, [we] are trying to talk more with the victim today," Loudoun County Public Information Officer Kraig Troxell said around noon Monday. "Hopefully, we can get some more information out of him -- more of a description."

Authorities have no reason to believe students, teachers or employees of the elementary school face any kind of danger.

Anyone with any information regarding this case is asked to contact Investigator M. McCaffrey of the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at 703-777-0475. If the caller wishes to remain anonymous they are asked to contact Loudoun Crime Solvers. If the information provided leads to an arrest and indictment, the caller could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.

Maybe you should get this story straight. In the "daily update" video (which I notice is only done about once a week) you say he was stabbed IN the school. Everywhere else you say he was stabbed NEAR the school. There is a difference, isn't there?
