Vehicles took a nasty beating in the latest crime news of the Loudoun area, as one was damaged and two were broken into.
 

Larcenies from Vehicles

Aug. 31, 9 p.m. Unknown subject(s) entered an unsecured vehicle in the 43600 block of Emerald Dunes Place in Leesburg, and took an MP3 player.

Sept. 1, 12 a.m. Unknown subject(s) entered a vehicle in the 45500 block of E. Severn Way. in Sterling and took a suitcase containing an MP3 player and clothing.

Hit and Run (Destruction of Property)

Aug. 28, 6 p.m. Unknown subject(s) damaged a vehicle in the 22070 block of Highview Place in Ashburn. The driver side front window was damaged.
