Local crime recently focused on stealing washing machines from unbuilt houses, removing wine from an open garage, and breaking into houses to steal music.
 

Suds Stealer

Aug. 14, 7 p.m.

An unknown suspect removed a washing machine from a home under construction in the 25120 block of Hummocky Terrace in Aldie

Beefin' Up his/her ITunes library

Aug. 17, 8:10 a.m.

An unknown suspect entered a residence in the 400 block of Avondale Dr. in Sterling, making off with a large amount of coins and an MP3 player.

Connoisseur Crime

Aug. 17, 3 p.m. 

An unknown suspect entered a garage left ajar in the 20470 block of Cherrystone Pl. in Ashburn, stealing approximately 16 various bottles of wine.
