Burglary

July 24-25, 12 p.m. -11:50 a.m.

Unknown subjects forced open the door of a residence at the 21399 block of Wideoak Ct. in Sterling. The subjects damaged the basement walls of the home and stole a laptop.

 

July 25, 3:34 p.m.

Sheriff’s deputies responded to the 45600 block of Terminal Dr. after receiving a report of someone attempting to break into an office. The witness provided a description matching that of an individual identified at a traffic stop. Henry Wilson, 50, of Maryland, was charged with Breaking and Entering.

 

Destruction of Property

July 24, 12 a.m. – 3:37 p.m.

Graffiti was found on the sidewalk near the intersection of Whitewater Dr. and Fathom Pl. in Sterling. The graffiti was not gang related.

 

Larceny from a Vehicle

July 24, 1 p.m. – 2 p.m.

A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle at the 21800 block of Towncenter Plaza in Sterling. The vehicle window was damaged to gain entry.

 

July 25, 4:15 p.m.

A GPS unit was taken after unknown persons broke a vehicle window at the 22400 block of Enterprise St. in Sterling.

 

July 25-26, 5 p.m. – 8 p.m.

A satellite radio was stolen from a vehicle at the 20600 block of Settlers Point Pl. in Sterling.

 

July 25-26, 8 p.m. – 10 a.m.

A satellite radio was stolen from a vehicle at the 200 block of Williamsburg Rd. in Sterling.

July 25-26, 4 p.m. – 11 a.m.

Unknown persons removed tools and a firearm from a vehicle at the 43400 block of Stukely Dr. in Dulles.

 

July 25-26, 7 p.m. – 11 a.m.

An MP3 player was removed from an unsecured vehicle at the 25400 block of Lemon Tree Pl. in Chantilly.

 

July 25-26, 6:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.

An MP3 player was removed from an unsecured vehicle at the 254200 block of Farmneck Ct. in Chantilly.
