Destruction of Property

 

July 2, 1:30 a.m- 9:00 a.m.

Suspects vandalized a vehicle at the 45500 block of Majestic Dr. in Sterling.

 

July 1-2, 6:30 p.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Suspects attempted to gain entry into a warehouse at the 21700 block of Red Rum Dr. in Ashburn. They damaged a door in the process.

 

July 1-2, 4:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Suspects painted a mailbox at the 11770 block of Armistead Filler Ln. in Lovettsville.

 

July 5, 3:00 a.m.

Suspect damaged a vehicles window with a rock at the 21380 block of Clappertown Dr. in Ashburn.

 

Larceny

 

July 1, 9:30 p.m. - 9:20 a.m.

Suspects entered a vehicle and stole an MP3 player and cash at the 43400 block of Cedar Pond Pl in Chantilly.

 

July 2, 4:00 a.m.

A GPS unit was removed from a car at the 21180 block of Vineland Sq in Ashburn. Suspects entered 2 vehicles in the process.

 

July 5, 11:00 p.m. - 11:20 p.m.

Suspects removed a beach bag containing several pairs of shoes from a rear patio of a residence at the 25500 block of Hussar Ter in South Riding.

 

July 4-5, 12:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m.

A GPS unit was removed from a vehicle at the 40300 block of Spectacular Bid Pl. in Leesburg.

 

July 1-2, 8:00 p.m. - 9:00 a.m.

Suspects entered a vehicle and removed a wallet at the 22040 block of Avonworth Sq. in Ashburn.

 

July 3, 12:01 a.m.- 12:00 p.m.

Suspects stole a GPS unit from a vehicle at the 43000 block of Demerrit St in Chantilly.

 

 

June 30- July 2, 10:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.

3 crates of peaches were removed from a farm trailer at the 15500 block of James Monroe Hwy. in Leesburg.

 

July 2, 10:45 p.m.- 11:00 p.m.

A GPS unit, sunglasses, and binoculars were stolen from a vehicle at the 20430 block of Tappahannock Pl. in Sterling.

 

 

July 3 – 4, 10:30 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.

Suspects entered a vehicle and stole cash and a CD case at the 40740 block of Beechnut Rd. a Window was damaged to gain entry. The Second Vehicle had a damaged window at the 40540 block of Tim Tam Ct. and a third vehicle was located with its driver’s side window damaged and a GPS unit stolen at the 40550 block of Black Gold Pl in Leesburg.

 

Malicious Wounding

 

July 4, 10:11 p.m.

Suspects approached a group and became irate with the group over a game. One suspect struck a 28-year old Sterling man. The victim was taken to Lansdowne INOVA Loudoun Hospital and later airlifted to INOVA Fairfax Hospital for serious injuries. Jacob Allen Webb, 25, of Chantilly was charged with aggravated assault, public intoxication, and disorderly conduct. Webb is being held without bond. The incident occurred at the 20300 block of Center Brook Sq. in Sterling.

 

July 4, 10:51 p.m.

Deputies arrived to Whitcomb Sq in Sterling for a possible fight report. After arriving they located a victim suffering from lacerations consistent with a stabbing. The victim was taken to INOVA Fairfax Hospital where he was treated for non-threatening injuries. Two suspects matching the description given to the deputies were located and led to the arrest of Jose E. Salmeron-Zelayandai, 20, and Carlos Hernandez- Trochez, 20, both of Sterling. The two were charged with malicious wounding and gang participation. They are being held without bond and have had federal detainers placed against them.
