Burglary

 

June 22, 8:00 p.m.- 10:00 p.m.

Suspects entered an open garage at the 42700 block of Ridgeway Dr. in Ashburn. Suspects removed money from a vehicle.

 

June 22, 3:10 p.m.

Two juveniles were spotted allegedly removing items from an open garage of a residence in the 20270 block of Kiawah Island Dr. in Ashburn. The resident returned home and saw the incident occurring. Suspects fled the area as the resident chased them. The incident is still under investigation.

 

Larceny

 

June 22, 11:00 p.m.- 11:10 p.m.

A GPS unit was removed from a vehicle in the 22700 block of Holiday Park Drive in Sterling.

 

June 23, 5:46 p.m.

An MP3 players and video game system were removed from a vehicle in the 20 block of Aldridge Court in Sterling.

 

Recovered Automobile

 

June 23, 11:52 p.m.- 3:30 p.m.

A stolen vehicle was recovered on Hopeland Lane in Sterling. Deputies responded to a possible stolen vehicle report to find Rudi Adal Portillo-Medrano, 27, of no fixed address fleeing from the vehicle. Portillo-Medrano was located and remains held on a $2500 bond.

 

Suspicious Event

 

June 23, 11:00 p.m.

A resident of the 21300 block of Glebe View Dr. in Ashburn reported an unknown person walking in the woods behind their home. 

June 23, 10:45 p.m.

A resident of the 17570 block of Francis Farm Place in Hamilton reported hearing a door open in their home. A search was conducted of the home and property, but nothing suspicious was located.
