Man Charged With Soliciting a Minor

On May 25, Hugo Antonio Callejas was charged in relation to suspicious activity with a Leesburg minor. A member of the Criminal Investigations Division was contacted b the parent of a 13-year-old girl who had been approached by Callejas. 

The girl was selling lemonade throughout the day and Callejas would periodically stop by and purchase some. On one of his stops, he allegedly gave the girl his first name, phone number, and then told the girl to call him. 

In response to this incident, an investigation was initiated, resulting in police identifying Callejas, who has been charged with one count of Computer Soliciting of a Minor Less than 15 for Sex or Sodomy. 

The Sheriff's Office is asking for anyone who has been approached by this individual to call Investigator Promisel at 571-258-3126. Callejas could have been driving either a Copper colored Nissan Armada or a white GMC work van with a ladder rack on top.
