The Da Vinci Robot and HCA’s Reston Hospital Center Join Forces

Is the doctor being interviewed an oncologist? My loved one had a chest wall mass removed in the summer of 2009 and he did not use the DaVinci. Her diagnosis was "chest wall mass." She saw him once per referral from ENT and once the day of surgery and once in the hospital. Her contact at his office was a lady, Jasmine. She is a nurse practitioner nad We found her to be either very helpful or very rude. We were scared to death and my loved one is still affected by her lack of treatment afterwards. He did not remove one stitch or staple and, in fact, she had to return back to the office as Jasmine had inadvertantly left some staples and stitches. I was so happy for the lady in this article but I can't help but wonder how her follow-up care went. My loved one was told that her closest family member asked too many questions. This family member called twice throughtout this approx. 3 mo. ordeal with this group. Jasmine criticized the patient for crying, for having a loved one, who was told to call whenever thye had questions, ask too many questions, was left with oozing, open sutures and many more insults to the patient and her family and the patient had never had surgery, had responsibilities, and extreme fear. They did major surgery on the patient not knowing what they would find and, after stitches were eventually removed, never saw her again. They sent her off to her primary care. I assume this may be normal procedure but there was never a doctor, patient relationship formed nor never one formed between the crisis couselor,Jasmine, or the patient. I think patients shole look for this surgery from another doctor. I wish to remain anonymous.
