One of the nine victims in Monday’s auto accident in Brambleton has died. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office has announced that Jose Armando Romero, 28, of Herndon, died on Wednesday, July 22, as a result of injuries suffered in the crash.

Romero was a passenger in 1989 Ford E350 box van, which police believe went through an eastbound stop sign on Creighton Road, striking the side of a southbound 300 Ford F250 Crew Cab pickup traveling on Belmont Ridge Road.

Romero was one of two middle seat passengers in the box truck. He is not believed to have been wearing a seatbelt and the vehicle was not equipped with airbags.

A total of nine people were transported from the scene of the crash. Jose Amides-Mejia, 24, and Roberto Castelan, 20, remain in critical condition at Inova Fairfax Hospital. Andres Rivera, 22, of Manassas, has been downgraded from critical to stable condition.

The driver of the box van, Aldo Fabian Arroyo-Hernandez, 26, of Herndon has been charged with reckless driving, driving unlicensed and failing to obtain a Virginia driver's license. Arroyo-Hernandez was airlifted from the scene.

The Sheriff’s Office's crash reconstruction unit is investigating the incident.

After further investigating the illegal unlicensed driver as well as the passengers are all employees of Bishop's Tennis which operates off of Evergreen Mill Rd & Loundoun County Parkway in Loudoun county. Apparently the passengers in the company Uhaul truck are illegal as well. The company owns and operates a handful of old Uhaul and other run down vehicles which most likely shouldn't be on the road. This is an example of a business owner ( Authur "Skip" Bishop) not caring about the safety of the general public by putting unlicensed illegals behind the wheel of unsafe vehicles. If I were the sheriffs department I would investigate the company and report them to Homeland Security/ Immigration. To top it off the operations supervisor/ manager Hong Van Tran is a convicted felon who has spent time in jail for armed robbery and is a non resident who is suppose to have been deported under the immigration act which deports individuals who are convicted of such serious crimes. How can a company shelter or hide an individual like Hong Van Tran from being deported. Question is how can immigration allow this illegal to hire and put other illegals without licenses behind the wheel...What kind of company is this??? Bishop's Tennis should rethink how they operate.
