The Loudoun County Fair, which runs from July 26-Aug. 1 this year, is proud to introduce that they will be offering the “Great Outhouse Race.”
This race–which is expected to become an annual event–will take place on Wednesday, July 29 at the Loudoun County Fair. For more details and entry forms visit the fair’s Website,www.loudouncountyfair.com.
The race can be a great team building exercise for businesses, as well as individuals, who will be tasked to design and their very own outhouses, according to specifications listed on our web site. Trophies will be awarded and best of show to be voted on by fair attendees.
In addition to the outhouse race, fair organizers will once again be conducting their famous Kiss-A-Pig event, which will take place just before the professional bull-riding rodeo on Saturday night, August 1. Those wishing to be included in the Kiss-A-Pig event can sign up on the Website.
“With seven days of exciting and spectacular entertaining events, this year’s fair is going to be hard to top,” said Terry Corle, now in his seventh term as Fair Superintendent. “Events this year include our Demolition Derby, Motorcycle Thrill Show, Annual Livestock Auction, Circus and Magical acts, 4-H animal shows and events. And commercial vendors will be there with all the foods you’d ever want to taste.”
