I am seeking re-election to better Loudoun through a smart government approach that brings balance, restores public trust, and protects quality-of-life. I am the only community-centered candidate with experience and a record you can trust.
The most important issue is quality-of-life, which is shaped by growth, transportation, taxes, economic development, and government services like education and parks. I have supported slower growth initiatives that embrace a suburban east, rural west, and transition in between. I will use all tools available for transportation, including lobbying for state money, using road bonds and proffers when appropriate, supporting the Rt. 28 tax district, and promoting telework. The keys to relieving the tax burden are setting spending priorities while balancing demands of growth, rejecting funding for pet projects, and continuing the positive growth of our commercial tax base. Loudoun was ranks fifth in the nation for job growth from 2000 to 2006, and I will work to continue that trend.

I believe strongly that education is critical to our children being able to both differentiate themselves from the other people on earth but as importantly allows them to find work they truly enjoy. It with this passion that I successfully initiated Mandarin into the Loudoun County School System. The more enrichment opportunities and diverse subject matter our children experience the better chance they will have to find their niche. Over the past four years I never filed an expense report for reimbursement for the hundreds of meetings and thousands of miles I drove to fulfill my commitment to school board responsibilities. I asked more questions of school administration than any other board member because the law requires us to inquire of the school division to insure utmost efficiency is achieved. As a former head of business analysis for a major firm I know how to analyze date and have done so. As a school board member I view myself as an active parent who currently represents friends and neighbors of the Broad Run District. I only intend on serving one more four year term which coincides with my children still being in the school system. I am not a politician in that I take no contributions from anyone nor do I have any aspirations beyond insuring the school system is as good as possible while my children attend it. I believe in contributing to my community and my actions prove it. I am a volunteer board member on the Good Shepherd Alliance and the Loudoun County Crime Commission. I am an active member in the St. Theresa Parish and volunteer to help the Broad Run H.S. football team and marching band pit crew. Recently, I qualified by passing a national exam to become an NFL Agent which is an additional service I'm adding to the contracts portion of my law practice.

I am a write-in candidate for the Broad Run seat and I am asking for your support on Nov. 6.
I am a product of Northern Virginia Public Schools, having graduated from Lake Braddock Secondary School in
Fairfax County, and I strongly believe in the power of a good public education. Here in Loudoun County
we enjoy excellent public schools, but with fresh ideas and new ways of thinking, we can do even more.
My message for improving our schools through better cooperation amongst Loudoun leaders is resonating as
I have received the endorsement of the Loudoun Education Association (LEA), as well as the Loudoun County
Republican Committee (LCRC). I also have the support of Phyllis Randall and Lori Waters, the Democratic
and Republican candidates for Supervisor in Broad Run. If you are ready for a more effective leader and
representative working on behalf of your children's education, I hope you will write-in "Tag" on your ballot
on Nov. 6. Thank you.
