Dear Loudoun citizens,
It has been my honor and privilege to serve as your Clerk of the Circuit Court for these past 7 years. During this time, I have worked to instill a sense of mission, energy and a renewed focus on customer service and fiscal responsibility in the Clerk's Office. I have implemented cost-effective technologies and enhanced operations while respecting and preserving our valuable historic court records. Today, the Clerk's Office uses advanced technology to deliver efficient, high quality and cost-effective services to a growing number of customers. Rest assured that protecting your privacy and promoting security will remain my top priorities. All of my automation initiatives fully meet or exceed the requirements in Virginia's privacy laws.

As commissioner of the revenue, my responsibility is to serve citizens and business owners by administering
tax programs mandated by the code of Virginia and local ordinance in a manner that is efficient, fair, equitable
and thorough, while protecting the confidential personal and business information entrusted to the office.
My goal is to make it as hassle-free as possible for taxpayers to do business with my office.
Accomplishments since taking office in 2004 include:
- Contracted with DMV to provide residents with the ability to register their vehicles with the state and county in one place, thus avoiding DMV's long lines. Residents can now conveniently title a vehicle and obtain or renew their license plates in my offices.
- Became the first Commissioner of the Revenue in the Commonwealth to provide business owners with the ability to report business property and renew their business licenses online.
- Also became the first Commissioner to give taxpayers the ability to maintain their personal property tax accounts online 24/7.
- Implemented an office-wide document imaging system which allows the secure sharing of documents between my Leesburg and Sterling offices, saves on costly storage space, and reduces labor intensive data entry.
Loudouners deserve a professional tax administrator in the county's top elected tax assessment post. Please allow me to continue my service to you as Loudoun County’s Commissioner of the Revenue by voting for me on November 6th.
